Huntingdon Life Sciences Customer Aventis Exposed - 7 December 2001 - SHAC 

After months of undercover investigation, SHAC FRANCE have released heartbreaking 
images of animals imprisoned inside the vivisection laboratories of HLS customer Aventis.
 
Aventis manufacture and are involved in weed killer, GMO's, pesticides and drugs - 
not content with slaughtering puppies and other animals at HLS they also own and 
operate a number of vivisection laboratories across the world.

Aventis first came to the attention of SHAC France due to the fact that they are a 
customer of HLS, after further investigations members of the organisation decided 
to gather evidence on and expose the suffering taking place inside three of Aventis' 
French laboratories

Aventis Pharma S.A, 20 QUAI DE LA REVOLUTION 94140 ALFORTVILLE, FRANCE 

This laboratory lies just outside Paris, it is here where Aventis imprison and 
abuse beagles, rabbits, monkeys, rats and mice. There are hundreds of animals 
locked up inside this death camp - all of them waiting to die in painful experiments 
for Aventis products. 
 
As part of their investigation SHAC FRANCE photographed beagle dogs locked up in bare 
metal cages, their spirits totally destroyed by the vicious experiments that Aventis 
had put them through.

Investigators witnessed excited young beagles unaware of what was coming their way 
desperate to get out of their cages to experience love and affection, something they 
had never felt in their short miserable lives.

The older dogs were totally dejected and removed, their eyes dull and lifeless after 
having the poison of Aventis forced into their bodies, some dogs stared warily at 
the investigators camera whilst others cowered with fear in the corner.

This site is close by to the site exposed above. Here they have mice, rats and rabbits. 
The animals are housed in two buildings. The mice are kept in the first one (which is 
named Pasteur Center). In the second building there are mice, rats and rabbits on 
floors 1,2,3 and 4.
 
Aventis Pharma, 102 ROUTE DE NOISY, 93230 ROMAINVILLE, FRANCE

This hell hole is where Aventis partake in most of their animal abusing activities. 
It sprawls across both sides of the street and here they lock up more than 450 beagles, 
many other dogs and 80 monkeys as well as mice, rabbits and farm animals. They buy the 
dogs from Marshall Farms in the US and the monkeys are flown in from Mauritius.

Not only are Aventis guilty of animal abuse inside the torture chambers of HLS who 
punch animals in the face, mis-dose them and systematically abuse them to death but 
they also run their own filthy animal abuse institution where animals are poisoned 
and destroyed.

Let Aventis be an example to all companies having dealings with HLS that no matter 
where abouts in the world you are based, SHAC will hunt you down, expose you and then 
leave you open for attention from the global animal rights movement. HLS are not worth 
the trouble that they drag along with them wherever they rear their ugly head.
